Tonight I wanted to test out the BKT function with which you can take three consecutive shots with different exposure compensations or different white balance. I wanted to take portraits because I often find the flash a problem with portraits but then if I turn it off the shutter speed will be far too slow, the subject will move. Since I'm the only person around here I decided to use the tripod and timer as well. I got two nice shots but not the three I needed for comparison. So instead I tested out my old lens, a Tamron 35-90mm, and compared the two focal lengths at their shortest and longest zoom.
The difference I see is mostly just the focal length. I'm thrilled that my lens works and that the auto focus works with it as well. Of these shots I like the closest one, love the small DoF and the reflections and the detail of the grain.
